The other team members are tasked to catch up on the next session
Since Daniel was out last week, the team was tasked to give Daniel a recap of the learnings from last week.
There will be a HighBlocks Jr. Team inaugurating on March 25, including three younger siblings of the HighBlocks team. Everybody is excited to support the youngsters!
The team strategically decided to skip the hybrid car challenge during the 2022 SUPERPOWERED season. The consensus was that it was only 20 points; additionally, during the run in that direction, the attachment had too many high-value points assigned.
So today - as a warm-up, each kid was assigned to build their own attachment and develop the code for a single run to cover the hybrid car challenge. With it, most of today's session was core building and coding time!
Each kid is assigned to build a robot that can drive around; at least one line sensor is 1-2 studs above the floor, and the back of the robot must be flat for wall alignment.
We will use this for Code and Practice Line Following, Code Useful Functions, Acceleration, Turning, Align to the wall.
