Game Day Rules

Today was all game day preparation

Game Day Rules and Schedule

Coach Will summarized and walked the kids through the rules and schedule of the Game Day.

Coaches CANNOT touch the robot ever the entire day
MASKS must be worn in the Practice Pit and Tournament Tables area
No coaches in the presentation room. One parent may go to the presentation room and take a video of the presentation and judging.
No supplies or carrying boxes allowed at the Game Table. Wheel cleaning and battery changes must be done in the Pit area. Hand carry robot and attachments.
Do not bring an iPad. Team is disqualified if Bluetooth is used anywhere. All programming must be done with a laptop and USB cable.
Everyone must arrive 10 minutes early to all matches and the presentation. No one will wait for us if we are late and we will get zero points.

Coach Will recapped the idea of Gracious Professionalism and how the kids can implement it:

Talk with other teams and try to make new friends.
Ask other teams about their Innovation Project and Robot design. Get some good ideas for next year.
During the tournament, cheer for the other team when their robot gets points.
If another team is struggling, see if you can help them.
Shake hands or High 5 the other teams after the match.
Reset the missions in the Practice Pit area before and after each practice.
