A week after Halloween, it was still spooky in the air. In the High Blocks workshop, there was someone quietly and patiently watching the team from the west window.
Without noticing the watcher at all, the team began their session as usual on this beautiful afternoon.
To test how familiar everyone was with the mission field, the team came up with a fun game: finding the mistakes on the field. All team members tried it one by one, and they tested the minor but critical errors on the field. They learned that being able to spot mistakes on the map is as important as completing each mission accurately and quickly.
Then the team did the first round of practice for their presentation. During this, they found out that some important information—such as the survey results and the before-and-after pictures of the sandbag experiment—needed to be added to the poster boards.
In the presentation of the Robot Game session, they considered making a copy of the real mission models to show the judges during the presentation. They also noticed that some explanations in the technical part were moving too fast and needed to be slowed down to ensure the audience had a clear understanding of their attachment design.
Fun
When everyone started feeling tired, Coach Will suggested a Core Value game. Then the five of them each held a marker and drew a house on a piece of paper. It's harder than you think!
