Georgia Super-Regionals! Trickum, Georgia

The team was ready to take on the next step of the tournament season. The kids felt confident with improvements to the innovation project and probably 100s of launch practices, dozens of presentation walkthroughs as a team, and more presentation practices at home.

Things went very well; with 305 points in the robot game, the team scored a tied first place with another team and won one of the two highest score trophies.

As expected - judging during the super-regionals was tougher, and the innovation project had a few weak spots pointed out by the judges.

But the good news was that the team was among the few that qualified for the remaining spots at the State Competition. Since the state competition was only two weeks out, the Georgia FLL head judge came out for the competition to select teams after the completion of the competition instead of waiting for a couple of days until the announcement.

A lot of good feedback during the session.
