From Submarine to Ocean Games
From Submarine to Ocean Games
Today was a day of innovation and collaboration as each member dove into their creative projects, pushing the boundaries of their ideas. With everyone tackling different aspects of their work, we saw some exciting breakthroughs.
Max has been hard at work upgrading his submarine model, and today he reached a significant milestone. The slicer and pincher mechanisms, which were once manually operated, are now fully motorized! This adds a whole new dimension of functionality, making the submarine much more interactive. Alongside Haoyang, Max also focused on improving the clamp of the submarine, while coding the color sensor to enhance its capabilities. Their teamwork exemplified the spirit of "divide and conquer."
Meanwhile, Wesley shared his progress on his investing game, which was originally centered around collecting coins. However, Coach Shuyi had a brilliant suggestion: why not swap the coins for trash to bring an environmental message to the game? Players would use a fish net to capture trash, making it not just fun but also educational, reinforcing the importance of keeping our oceans clean. Wesley is now working on integrating this idea, making his game an ocean-themed adventure.
Ava and Alina are continuing their fantastic work on their animation project. Their story follows a dolphin mother and baby who are rescued and brought to an aquarium. Just when everything seems peaceful, a shark appears and attacks the dolphins! However, in a fun twist, it turns out the “shark” is actually a girl in a shark costume. This quirky and creative story keeps everyone engaged and adds a playful layer to their animation.
In the midst of all this activity, Ian expressed interest in developing a brand-new game. While the concept is still in its early stages, his enthusiasm to join in the ocean-themed projects is contagious. We can't wait to see where his creativity leads!
With Max and Haoyang fine-tuning the technical aspects of the submarine, Wesley and Ian recreating oceanic-themed games, and Ava and Alina refining their animation, the group was fully immersed in their respective projects. By splitting up tasks and coming together for feedback, the team demonstrated that collaboration and individual creativity can coexist harmoniously.
Stay tuned for more updates as these projects evolve. From submarines to dolphin rescues and educational games, the future is looking bright—and full of fun!
