Team Model Presentations

Today's session began with individual presentations on team model ideas.

Ian presented a concept focused on sea animal rescuers, proposing innovative methods for growing seaweed to support marine life. His ideas included building machines to cultivate seaweed underwater, establishing collection centers for surplus seaweed, and using mini figures to simulate feeding fish.

Wesley designed an underwater city complete with a bridge inhabited by a variety of animals, including a pig, monkey, parrot, and chicken. Max showcased a submarine equipped with torpedoes for protection in dangerous situations.

Alina introduced an underwater eco-city called Auquorea, inspired by a design from a Belgian architect. She addressed critical issues like pollution and overfishing, highlighting that the city would be constructed from recycled plastic waste. The city would also be self-sustaining, producing its own heat, energy, food, and fresh water.

Ava proposed a model that aids in seaweed growth, providing food and shelter for fish. She also suggested waterproof lights that blend in with the environment to avoid scaring fish, and an underwater factory to monitor fish populations. She plans to collaborate with Ian on these ideas.

Haoyang envisioned an underwater city shaped like a square, featuring an engineering room, playroom, bedroom, submarine dock, and facilities for converting water into breathable air using solar panels.

The session concluded with a video discussing the possibility of humans living underwater as a response to increasing global temperatures. The team also brainstormed ideas for their skit, added wheels and propellers to their submarine model, and started building team models.
